DERA MURAD JAMALI: An Anti-Terrorist Force (ATF) personnel was martyred in Dera Allahyar town of Jaffarabad district on Tuesday.

According to police, the victim, identified as Ghulam Mohammad, was on his way home on a motorbike when two armed motorcyclists intercepted him near Zeb town and opened fire.

He sustained multiple gunshot injuries and died on the spot. The police shifted the body to the district hospital and launched an investigation.

Senior officials, including SSP Dawood Khosa, and a number of people attended the funeral of the martyred ATF personnel, who was later buried in a local graveyard.
