LAKKI MARWAT: The management cadre officers of the education department observed a token strike here on Tuesday to condemn the posting of teachers against the posts specified for them.

They wore black armbands and flayed the government for sidelining them.

“During the last few months, a number of management cadre officers have been replaced with school cadre officers,” an officer said. He said that the services of management cadre officers had been placed at the disposal of the provincial directorate of elementary and secondary education.

The officer said working against management cadre post was their due right and the government should let the teachers focus on their prime duty of imparting quality education to students..
