KARACHI: Expressing serious concerns about what it called an “administrative and financial crisis” in the University of Karachi, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan has asked the prime minister and varsity’s vice chancellor to play their role and take steps to end the crisis that may jeopardise future of its thousands of students.

In a statement issued here, the MPAs belonging to the party said that it was a matter of great concern that the teaching community and non-teaching staff were protesting for their due rights.

The MPAs said that the MQM-P was concerned over the future of university students.

They appealed to the prime minister and KU vice chancellor to play their role for early resolution of the issues.
