PESHAWAR: Two militants were killed and two others injured in an exchange of fire between security forces and militants in North Waziristan on Wednesday, the military’s media wing said.

A statement issued by the ISPR said that the security forces planned an intelligence-based operation, adding that during an intense exchange of fire, two militants were killed, while another two injured.

It said that weapons, am­munition and explosives were also recovered from the killed militants who were involved in numerous activities in the area.
