Palestine’s United Nations envoy Riyad Mansour has said that “more babies will be murdered” due to the UN Security Council’s (UNSC) failure to call for a ceasefire in Israel’s onslaught on Gaza, Al Jazeera reports.

“By the time this Security Council session ends, more than 25 Palestinians will have been killed, it means more babies will be murdered,” Mansour said in a damning speech condemning the group.

His comments came after the US used its veto to kill yet another UNSC resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, a move Mansour described as “absolutely reckless and dangerous”.
