BUSINESS & Finance team’s annual survey carried out on Dawn.com amply displayed the bleak expectations of the masses. About 7 out of 10 of roughly 850 respondents do not expect 2024 to be a good year or that the country’s economy will improve post-elections. Speaking of elections, only 3 out of 10 intend to vote, regardless of whether PTI contests elections, indicating the dismal turnout expected on February 8. And why would people vote when 1 out of 2 wants to or plans to leave the country for good?
