TAXILA: Two armed robbers looted a spare parts shop located a few yards away from Wah Saddar Police station on Monday, police sources said.

Qazi Imran, the shop’s owner, reported to the police that he was present in his shop when two persons disguised as customers entered and took him along with two other customers’ at gunpoint.

The robbers searched the shop and fled with looted cash and valuables amounting to Rs100,000.

The victim stated that he made frequent calls to Police Emergency Helpline 15, but the police arrived late, as the shop is a few yards away from the police station.

Separately, Mukaram Shahzad reported to the police that two motorcycle riders intercepted him and snatched his motorcycle, mobile phone and cash in Dhoke Kokara within the limits of Wah Cantonment police station at gunpoint and fled.
