MARDAN: Seven people, including three minors, were killed and two others were injured in separate incidents during Eid holidays, police said.

They said that two youngsters identified as Zahidullah and Husnain were killed while Bilal sustained injuries when their motorcycles collided with each other near Chora police station.

Rescue 1122 officials rushed to the spot and took them to district headquarters hospital Mardan for medico-legal procedure.

In another incident, two persons identified as Ishtiaq and Zawar were killed and their companion Abdullah received several bullet wounds when unidentified persons opened firing on them in Jamalgari area of Katlang tehsil.

Also, a minor boy identified as Talha was electrocuted in Ghareebabad locality of Takht Bhai. He was rushed to tehsil headquarters hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

Similarly, a three-year-old boy identified as Yaqoob drowned in a stream in Sangar Gumbat area. The divers of Rescue 1122 fished out his body after two-day. In Azeemabad area of Gujargari, a three-year-old girl identified as Bakhtawar drowned in a water tub inside her house.
