Depp’s possible return to Pirates of the Caribbean

Pirates of the Caribbeanis one of Disney’s most beloved live-action franchises and there is discussion of more films in the franchise and Johnny Deppmight return as Captain Jack Sparrow.

Disney Studio Motion Picture Production president Sean Bailey, speaking with theNew York Times, teased the story for the next film as well as addressed the possibility for Depp’s return. While he didn’t confirm the actor would appear, his answer seemed to leave the door open.

“We think we have a really good, exciting story that honours the films that have come before and also has something new to say,” Bailey said.

And then, specifically about Depp, Bailey said he was “noncommittal at this point.”

Lionel Messi docuseries in the works

Apple TV+ announced a four-part documentary from Smuggler Entertainment about Argentine soccer starLionel Messi.

The new series was filmed in Paris, Qatar and Argentina, and explores Messi’s five FIFA World Cup appearances, culminating with his World Cup Qatar win in 2022.

“In his own words, Messi tells the definitive story of his incredible career with the Argentina national football team, providing an intimate and unprecedented look at his quest for a legacy-defining World Cup victory,” an official description reads.

Messi and the Argentina national soccer team beat Franceto win the World Cup in Qatarin December 2022. The docuseries also features personal interviews with Messi, alongside conversations with teammates, coaches, competitors, devout fans and commentators.

Return of the Jedi 40th anniversary collection
