Marvel announces New Dark X-Men team

Marvel’s X-Men: Hellfire Gala in July, which will take us into the Fall of X. The X-Men will gather themselves after a shattering defeat, and from that defeat will emerge a new team of Dark X-Men, led by Madeline Pryor.

The Dark X-Men squad will include Madelyne Pryor, Havok, Archangel, Gambit, Azazel, Zero, Albert, and Emplate.

The Dark X-Men are a team created to combat the harsher conditions in the Fall of X era, with wildcard-filled roster of unpredictable personalities. They will be calling New York’s new Limbo Embassy their headquarters and, hopefully, they’ll get the job done without too much external damage...but that just may not be possible.

Dark X-Men #1 will hit comic stores on August 16th.

Alligator Loki gets his very first print comic at Marvel

Alligator Loki is transitioning from the screen to the comics. The first season of Loki on Disney+ introduced viewers to the reptilian god of mischief, one of the many variants Tom Hiddleston’s titular character met on his journey. Now Marvel decided to give him an Infinity Comic series on Marvel Unlimited. That story, along with an all-new adventure, will be collected in an extra-sized Alligator Loki one-shot.

The cover of Alligator Loki #1 features Alligator Loki with a self-confident grin and as he faces down weapons from Spider-Man, Hawkeye, Thor, Wolverine, and more.

The description for the 12-part saga reads, “For his entire life Thor has only known one brother, Loki. Known to all as conniving, sneaky, and cunning! But a new Loki is ready to take his place. He may be smaller, he may be cuter, and… an alligator?! But don’t be deceived, Alligator Loki has all the same attributes as his human counterpart and is ready to get into some trouble!”

Alligator Loki #1 goes on sale September 13th.

Hocus Pocus 3 confirmed by Disney boss

Disney’s Hocus Pocus spent nearly 30 years growing into a Halloween classic. Though not an immediate box office success, Hocus Pocus is now a staple of spooky season, and a 2022 sequel from the House of Mouse broke streaming records for Disney+ when it made its debut. Now Disney is officially moving forward with a third instalment in the franchise.

There are no other details regarding Hocus Pocus 3 at the moment, other than the fact that it’s actually moving forward. One would have to assume that another Hocus Pocus movie would obviously star the trio of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy.
