ISLAMABAD: Minister for Water Resources Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah on Saturday said that PTI chairman Imran Khan was the real cause of the problems being faced by the country.

The only solution to the current crisis was constitution of a full bench of the Supreme Court (SC) for hearing the petition against delay in the Punjab assembly polls, the minister said in a statement.

He said fixing the responsibility for the political crisis should start from General Pasha to General Zaheer Islam and General Faiz as they all supported Imran Khan, he said.

He regretted that the political crisis had turned into grave constitutional crisis.

The minister said the judiciary should constitute a full bench to find a way out to the constitutional crisis.

He said stubbornness and ego had brought the country to this quagmire. “If something goes wrong, the main institutions will be responsible,” he said.
