RAWALPINDI: Air Sial has announced to start flight operations for Saudi Arabia from Wednesday (today) to facilitate Umrah pilgrims and other travelers.

Air Sial, Sialkot based Pakistan’s third private airline, is offering four weekly flights from Lahore to Jeddah with its flights available on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Mian Amin Ahsan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) told Dawn that the airline will operate its inaugural flight from Lahore to Jeddah on Wednesday March 29. The airline will operate Airbus A320 between Lahore-Jeddah, he said.

He said the airline would also operate flights from Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar and Sialkot for Saudi Arabia in the second phase.

Air Sial started its flight operation in December 2020 with five aircraft. It was an initiative of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce.
