DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Five people, including two children, were killed and two others injured when a trailer collided with a truck due to brake failure while coming down from a hilly track in Sarobi area of the tribal tehsil of Darazinda, a Rescue 1122 official said here on Sunday.

Rescue media coordinator Aizaz Mehmood identified the deceased as eight-year-old Luqman, nine-year-old Rehman, Qudratullah, Manzoor and Yusuf, while Rozi Khan and Abdul Rehman were injured.

On being informed about the incident, a medical team of Rescue 1122 reached the spot and shifted the dead and the injured to Type-D Hospital, Darazinda.

It should be noted that several precious lives have been lost as a result of similar accidents at the same place.

Two days ago, one person was killed and 14 others, including two women and a child, were injured when a passenger coach veered off the road while descending the same hilly track in Sarobai area.
