TOBA TEK SINGH: Faisalabad women police on Wednesday arrested a couple on the charge of torturing their minor niece at Chak 224-RB.
Station House Officer (SHO) Ms Madiha Irshad said the complainant, Shahnaz Bibi, mother of minor girl Safia, said in the FIR that her daughter was seriously injured by her husband’s brother Azam and his wife over a minor domestic issue.
The complainant also alleged that the couple also tore her clothes during the brawl.
SHO Irshad said that acting on the woman’s complaint, the police arrested the accused couple and registered a case under relevant sections of the PPC.
