TAXILA: Three persons, including a 10-year-old girl, were killed in three different incidents in the limits of Rango police station of Hazro on Wednesday.

In the first incident, Rabia, 10, was playing with her cousins outside her house in Veero village when one of her cousins while playing tightened rope around her neck as a result she died of suffocation.

A man was shot dead over an old enmity in the Pind Sahib Kamala in the same police station limits. Police sources said that the victim Ajmal Khan had shifted from Charsadda to the area due to some old enmity.

On Wednesday he was going towards his house when two masked men intercepted him and showered him with bullets, killing him on the spot.

Moreover, a motorist lost his life as his car which he was driving overturned as he lost control due to speeding on Islamabad- Peshawar motorway (M-1) near Akhori in the limits of Hazro police station, Rescue 1122 said.
