KUZDAR: Three persons, including a woman, were axed to death in a village of Khuzdar district, on Sunday evening, officials said.

The cause of the murder could not be verified immediately but Levies officials believed they were killed in the name of honour.

Levies officials said some unidentified men barged into a house in Akro village of Karkh tehsil and attacked the residents with an axe, killing three people including a woman, before fleeing.

Security officials rushed to the site and shifted the bodies to the hospital.

The deceased were later identified as Mohammad Zakaria and Mohammad Dawood, while woman’s name could not be ascertained.
