ABBOTTABAD: Assistant commissioner, Abbottabad, Saqlain Saleem sealed six CNG stations for violating the gas loadshedding schedule.
It may be noted here that to ensure ‘smooth’ gas supply to households, the district administration has issued loadshedding schedule for CNG stations from 6am to 9am and 5pm to 9pm.
Earlier, Mr Saleem, during visits to bazaars, booked five shopkeepers for violating the official rate list. He also imposed heavy fines on shopkeepers for not keeping hygiene at their outlets.
The official visited the city bazaars, Gurdwara Street, Kutchery Road and Tanchi Chowk.
Meanwhile, deputy commissioner Tariq Salam Marwat inspected the control room, condition of machinery and rescue points established under the winter contingency plan.
He also visited Galiyat to check the availability of facilities for tourists. He was briefed about the rescue emergency plan.
He directed immediate steps should be taken to ensure the provision of facilities to tourists. He said roads should be kept open by proper sprinkling salt on them. He also set the rates of tyre chains and directed that smooth supply of petrol, diesel and food items should be ensured in the area to facilitate tourists during winter.
