Make school life more fun

This is regarding the cover article “Make school life more fun” by Faraz Ahmed (YW, October 22). I agree with the writer that the time we spend in school is the best time of our lives.

It is remembered only when it is gone, so we must value it and enjoy everything related to it.

The little fights we have with friends, the treasured moments of playing together, the scolding of a teacher, playing pranks, the fear of tests and exams, etc., all these things and the suggested ones in the article can make our school life more memorable.

My values

Everyone has values, and your values make you a better and responsible citizen. The values that I hold reflect who I am.

The more I focus on them, the more I see myself becoming a better citizen and a stronger girl. I never intend to take revenge on people. I allow myself to be a light-hearted and efficient collaborator.

People with good values help others and have compassion towards people. A person who has good values can judge and distinguish between right and wrong. He/she possesses honesty, integrity, reliability, stability, compassion, determination and courage.

Good values always help character growth. The things which I value the most in my life are my friends and teachers. Teachers are the ones who not only teach us what is written in books, but also teach us life lessons.

And as far as friends are concerned, they are the backbone of every human being.

They bring out the best version in us. They never let us down or let us face the difficulties of life alone.

Values are like fingerprints, everyone has different ones, but they represent our identity. Make sure your values make you a great person and you leave a great impression behind for others to follow.

Superstitions

This is regarding the story “Superstitions” by Rameen Kaka (YW, October 29).

The story was interesting and also made it clear that while making assumptions, we should always use logic and rational thinking.

Those who have impressionable minds are more bent towards irrational thinking, attributed to fate or magic and fear of unknown. It is always advised to take a moment and focus more on the rational and logical side of things and then decide.
