TOBA TEK SINGH: A large number of PTI workers received Asad Umar at Faisalabad’s Aminpur bypass and brought him to the District Council Chowk where a public meeting was virtually addressed by party chief Imran Khan.

Earlier in his speech, Asad Umar said Haqiqi Azadi March would definitely achieve its target of early election. He thanked the people of Faisalabad for overwhelmingly joining long march’s Faisalabad show.

PTI central leader Dr Shahbaz Gill also spoke. Former MNA Faizullah Kamoka, former federal minister of state for information and broadcasting Farrukh Habib, provincial ministers Ali Afzal Sahi and Latif Nazar Gujjar and MPAs Waheed Shahid, Firdous Rai and Sheikh Khurram Rashid were also present in the march.

Before reaching Faisalabad, party’s shows at Jhang and Samundri were poor.

After end of PTI public meeting at Faisalabad’s District Council Chowk, some workers of two groups querrelled and they attacked each other with sticks and threw chairs as a result at least four activists received minor injuries.

However, a man, Habib Rasool (48), who did not belong to any group, was seriously injured as a chair hit on his head.

He was shifted by a Rescue 1122 ambulance to DHQ hospital.
