QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has said the differences with Jam Kamal Khan have been resolved and they will work together to strengthen the ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP).

Talking to the media after a long meeting with Mr Khan, who was his predecessor, on Thursday, Mr Bizenjo said: “My meeting with Jam Kamal Khan was positive and fruitful, and I have apologised on the issue of division of Lasbela.” He added that he should have consulted Mr Khan, who hails from the area, on the issue.

“Mr Khan is our elder who has advised us to work towards strengthening the party,” said Mr Bizenjo, adding that the party would benefit from his political wisdom.

Mr Khan said he had political disputes with Mr Bizenjo that have been resolved. “We have decided to work together to organise the BAP before the general elections. Our goal is to work for the betterment of the province,” he added.
