RAWALPINDI: A woman was allegedly subjected to torture and sexual assault by a man in the Airport police area.

In her complaint lodged with the police, the rape victim said her friend called her and asked her to come to the corner of a street as she wanted to meet her. She said she left for the said place in response to her friend’s call.

She said when she reached there, she found her friend standing there while another person was sitting in a car. She said after her friend asked her to accompany her, she sat in the car which entered a house after a short drive. She further said a security guard was also there in the house who informed them that another friend of their’s was sitting on the first floor of the house.

She said as they went upstairs, the man who was accompanying her friend followed her and locked the room as she entered it. She said she was threatened and then subjected to sexual assault.

She further claimed that after she tried to escape, she was overpowered by the security guard and taken into the room again where she was subjected to torture and rape by the suspect who snatched her mobile phone and switched it off. Further investigation is underway.
