NUSHKI: Nushki Police on Saturday claimed to have recovered a kidnapped man within eight hours of his abduction

Addressing a press conference, DPO Ghulam Hussain Bajoi said police conducted a raid at a house in the Tarez area on Friday and recovered the captive Mumtazud Din.

Seven suspects were arrested, he added.

He said police had received a complaint from Mr Din’s cousin that the kidnappers had demanded a ransom of Rs6 million.

The raid was conducted following a technical method which led to the successful operation, he said, adding a vehicle, a motorbike and a pistol were also recovered.
