ISLAMABAD: Chief of Defence Staff of Nigeria General Lucky Eluonye Onyenuchea Irabor called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu at the Chief of Air Staff office here on Friday.

The visiting dignitary appreciated sound professionalism of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) personnel and acknowledged the achievements made by PAF in recent years through indigenisation, according to a PAF spokesperson.

The visiting dignitary expressed satisfaction on the performance of JF-17 fighter aircraft, inducted from Pakistan. He said the JF-17 aircraft, with its multirole fighting capabilities, would prove to be a great asset in addressing the security requirements of Nigeria.

The two sides agreed to further revitalise defence ties.
