Wheat field set ablaze

SARGODHA: Some unidentified suspects allegedly set ablaze a wheat field over rivalry on Wednesday at Chak 3, Darema, on Sargodha-Mianwali Road, some 8-km from here.

Police suspected that the crop owned by farmer Akbar was put on fire by his rivals.

Further investigation is under way.

MURDER: A boy was found murdered here on Wednesday at Chak 17-SB in Saddar police precincts.

Reports some the body of Fayyaz (11) was found in nearby fields. Saddar Police have registered a case against unknown suspects on the complaint of the mother of the boy.

Later on, locals blocked the road and protested against the murder.

Police have shifted the body to hospital for autopsy.
