Italian investors visit Peshawar Museum

PESHAWAR: A delegation of investors from Italy on Thursday visited the Peshawar Museum and witnessed artefacts of Ghandhara period being displayed for visitors.

The delegation members included Lainati Alberto and Bottone Ernesto, said a statement here. The foreign team was accompanied by Board of Investment, KP, chief executive officer Hassan Daud Butt, Pak Steel Mills CEO and other relevant officials.

The Italian delegation members appreciated the measures taken for the protection and preservation of the valuable and rare artefacts of the Buddhist era.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority general manager Mohammad Ali Syed and officials of the archaeology department briefed the visiting guests.

Speaking on the occasion, the delegation members described their visit to Peshawar as exciting. They showed willingness for investment in different sectors in the region.

Earlier, the delegation visited the offices of the Board of Investment and special secretary planning and development, KP.
