RAWALPINDI: Khan Abdul Wali Khan said today [March 7] that the political settlement between NAP-JUI and the Pakistan People’s Party signified the end of the tripartite coalition… . The coalition was broken by the PPP and not by them, the NAP chief said in an interview. But he said that despite the dissolution of the coalition by the PPP they would cooperate with the PPP Government because they stood for restoration of democracy and establishing a progressive social order in the country. … Asked if his party will be joining the Central Government following the conclusion of the agreement, Khan Abdul Wali referred to President Bhutto’s announcement that there was now no new alliance between the three parties. As such, he said, there was now no question of his party’s joining the Central Government. …
