ISLAMABAD: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has strengthened its partnership by appointing a Pakistani national working at ADB headquarters in Manila as deputy country director in Islamabad.

Asad Aleem will assist Co­u­­­ntry Director Yong Ye in managing the country operations. Country Partne­rship Stra­tegy 2021-25 focuses on improving econ­omic management, buil­d­ing resilience, and boosting competitiveness and private sector development.
