Over 30 kiosks gutted in Hazro

TAXILA: An accidental fire which broke out in a kiosk market in Hazro town of Attock on Monday turned over 30 kiosks into ashes causing millions of rupees losses to the local shopkeepers.

According to spokesman for district emergency services, fire broke out in a used cloth kiosk located in the market near main bus stand due to fault in the UPS and engulfed the whole market.

Despite hours long efforts of the rescue services the fire had turned kiosks into ashes. According to the spokesman, no loss of life or injury has been reported in the incident.

The affected shopkeepers protested against the incident and demanded financial compensation for the losses.
