HYDERABAD, Nov 16: Tando Mohammad Khan District Nazim Mir Inayat Ali Talpur has said that many development schemes will be launched in the district as soon as funds under a development package are released by the president.

He was speaking at a meeting of nazims, naib nazims and councillors in Tando Mohammad Khan on Wednesday. He assured the elected representatives that the royalty amount on gas and oil and sugar cess would be spent judiciously on development of the district’s three talukas.

The nazim said the president had given an assurance that job opportunities would be created for unemployed educated youths from funds allocated for poverty alleviation schemes. He said the T. M. Khan taluka had been neglected in fields of education, health, electricity and roads.
