LAHORE: The district government on Monday pasted a notice at Jati Umra residence of former premier Nawaz Sharif regarding the sale of his property on Nov 19.

According to the Board of Revenue (BoR) notice, the process of auction of Nawaz’s property will be held in connection with collection of £8m fine imposed on him by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) courts in corruption references.

The auction of property – 135 Upper Mall Lahore, situated in Mauza Mian Mir, Tehsil Cantonment – will be held on Nov 19 at the compound of Assistant Commissioner’s Office in Cantonment.

All officials concerned were told to make necessary arrangements in this regard.

The accountability court of Islamabad had ordered the sale of immovable properties of Nawaz Sharif who was declared a proclaimed offender by the same court in Sept 2020 due to his failure to join the Toshakhana case.
