PHC former CJ remembered

PESHAWAR: The first death anniversary of late chief justice Waqar Ahmed Seth was observed at the Peshawar High Court (PHC) here on Friday. Justice Seth had died on Nov 12 last year after contracting Covid-19. A statement issued here said that Quran Khwani was held for late Waqar Seth where the participants prayed for the departed soul.

Judges, principal officers and branch in-charges of the PHC attended the anniversary function. Similar memorial events were also held at branch offices of the court.

PHC Chief Justice Qaiser Rashid Khan on this occasion expressed his profound grief over the demise of Justice Seth and said that his passing away was a great loss.
