Eagle squad men escape bomb attack in Quetta

QUETTA: A vehicle of Eagle Squad escaped a bomb attack in the Sariab Road area here on Wednesday evening.

Police said unknown people detonated an improvised explosive device near Musa Clooney when a vehicle of Eagle Squad was patrolling the area.

“Eagle Squad vehicle escaped the blast and the personnel sitting inside the vehicle remained safe,” a senior police officer said, adding that the vehicle was the target of the bomb blast. Security forces rushed to the area soon after the blast and started investigation.
