ISLAMABAD: Robbers and thieves struck at 12 different places in capital and made off with cash and valuables worth millions of rupees, police said on Saturday.

In the first incident, armed robbers entered a house in F-10/3 and made off with Rs800,000 in cash and gold ornaments weighing 36 tolas, the police said, adding during their stay in the house the gunmen also beat the residents.

In another incident, some thieves stole a motorcycle and three mobile phones from the house of ASI Shafqat Hussan located in the area of Secretariat police station, the police said.

Moreover, culprits snatched two iPhones from Rizwan Kazmi and Kamran Ghafar in F-10.

Similarly, Momin Khan’s was deprived of iPhone by culprits in B-17, the police said.

Meanwhile, seven vehicles were also stolen from different areas of capital, they added.
