KARACHI: Zone-VI continued their winning run in the two-day City Cricket Association (Sindh region) Senior Tournament when they downed Zone-II by nine wickets at the KCCA Stadium here on Sunday.

Off-spinner Junaid Ilyas starred with a match bag of 9-54 as Zone-V trounced Zone-IV by eight wickets at the UBL Sports Complex, while the game between Zone-I and Zone-III was drawn at the Landhi Gymkhana Ground.

At KCCA Stadium: Zone-VI beat Zone-II by nine wickets.

ZONE-II 159 in 53.5 overs (Rao Waqar 53, Ali Shah 45 not out; Arish Ali Khan 4-39) and 149 in 63.5 overs (Hasan Jafri 42; Arish Ali Khan 3-34, Mohammad Tariq Khan 3-57); ZONE-VI 230-9 declared in 63 overs (Usman Khan 80, Hasan Mohsin 44; Nadir Shah 4-27) and 79-1 in 11 overs (Usman Khan 58 not out).

At UBL Sports Complex: Zone-V beat Zone-V by eight wickets.
