CHAGAI: Two people were killed and another was injured after two groups clashed over a land dispute in Nushki on Sunday.

According to official sources, members of both the groups opened fire at each other, killing Yasir Shah and Salman Mengal.

The injured Murad Shah and the bodies were shifted to the DHQ hospital where the injured was given medical treatment.

Police reached the site soon after the incident and started efforts to arrest the culprits.

Meanwhile, Levies Force in Washuk district recovered two captives after arresting two alleged kidnappers in the Naag area on Sunday.

Assistant Commissioner Jahanzaib Noor told Dawn that a man along with his son was kidnapped from the Sorani area early in the morning. Acting in a tip-off, Levies Force chased the kidnappers and arrested Razzaq and Sikander, however their accomplice succeeded in fleeing before the raid.
