Rain expected from tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: A new spell of rain is expected in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi including upper parts of the country from Monday night which will continue till Wednesday.

Talking to this agency, spokesman for Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Dr Zaheer Babar said the heavy rains were also expected in South Punjab, lower Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, upper Sindh and northeast Balochistan at scattered places during the period.

Strong monsoon currents from Bay of Bengal are penetrating in upper and lower parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave was also present over the upper parts of the country. He said the temperature would also subside during the period.
