QUETTA: Three men and a woman were killed and 13 others suffered injuries on Tuesday when a passenger wagon overturned and plunged into a deep roadside ditch in Ziarat district.

According to Levies Force officials, the wagon was going to Duki from Quetta when it met with the accident near the Wacha-Wina area.

Levies Force personnel rushed to the accident site and took the dead and the injured to district hospital, Sanjavi.

“We have received four bodies and 13 injured,” hospital officials said, adding that four injured persons were shifted to Quetta for treatment as their condition was serious.

The bodies were handed over to the heirs of the deceased after completing medico-legal formalities. The cause of the incident was over-speeding as the driver lost control of the wagon.
