ISLAMABAD: The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) on Friday set average price of $10.25 per million British thermal unit (mmBtu) for distribution of regasified liquefied natural Gas (RLNG) to their customers during the current month.

According to a notification, the distribution tariff for RLNG was about 5 per cent higher than last month $9.7638 per mmBtu.

The distribution tariff is worked out on the basis of LNG delivered ex-ship (DES) besides a number of other additional charges claimed by public sector companies and terminal operators. Ogra said the Pakistan LNG Ltd’s (PLL) DES prices averaged $7.055 per mmBtu for May, up 3.22pc in April.
