MULTAN: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman retired Justice Javed Iqbal on Wednesday transferred NAB Multan Director General (DG) Atiqur Rehman and posted him Awareness and Planning DG and gave Director Nauman Aslam the additional charge of the post till further orders.

“The competent authority has been pleased to approve posting and transfer of Mr Atiqur Rehman, Director General NAB Multan, in his own pay and scale to DG Awareness and Planning Headquarters with immediate effect and until further orders,” the notification issued by Additional Director of Personnel Management Imran Sohail stated.

Sources said the decision to remove Mr Rehman from the Multan post had been overdue as the chairman had received a number of complaints about his working.
