GWADAR: The bullet-riddled bodies of a man and a teenage girl were found in Turbat on Saturday.

The people of the Chogan Kund area informed police about the presence of the bodies in the area after which a police team shifted them to a hospital in Turbat.

Initial investigation reveals that the man and the girl belonged to Dhahdar area of Bolan district, but they were recently living in Chogan-Kund village on the outskirts of Turbat.

The police quoted the girl’s father, Qalandar Khan, as having told them during the investigation that his son had committed the double murder and fled the area.

The cause of the murder could not be immediately known.

“We are investigating the incident and soon the accused would be arres­ted,” a police officer said, adding that the deceased had received multiple bullet injuries.
