LAHORE: The Punjab government on Friday relieved Additional Chief Secretary (South Punjab) Zahid Akhtar Zaman to join his new assignment as Additional Secretary Cabinet Division.

The government also relieved Member, Chief Minister’s Inspection Team Syed Haider Iqbal with immediate effect to join his new assignment under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government upon promotion to BS-20 on a regular basis.

It appointed Nadeem Ahmad Abro, OSD, to BS-20 on an acting charge basis and posted him as Member, Chief Minister’s Inspection Team.

The Punjab government relieved Punjab Zakat and Ushr department Secretary Alamgir Ahmed Khan with immediate effect to join his new assignment as senior joint secretary Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Division upon promotion to BS-21.

The government relieved Punjab Auqaf and Religious Affairs departments/ Chief Administrator Punjab Auqaf Organisation Raja Khurram Shehzad Umar of his duties to join his new assignment under government of Sindh upon appointment to BS-20 on an acting charge basis. He has also been relieved of the additional charge of the post of director- general Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Punjab.

The government relieved special secretary (Develop-ment & Finance), Specialised Health Care and Medical Education department, Iqbal Hussain of his duties in the Punjab government with immediate effect to join his new assignment under Gilgit-Baltistan government of acting charge appointment in BS-20. Nabeela Javaid, currently posted in Punjab Mass Transit Authority, on a deputation basis, has been transferred and posted as secretary Punjab Mass Transit Authority against an existing vacancy.

Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Department additional secretary (Procurement) Sanaullah has been transferred and directed to report to the S&GAD for further orders.

OSD Hafiz Aneesur Rehman has been posted as Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Department additional secretary (procurement) with immediate effect.
