KARACHI: Five horses will vie for honours in the Kashmir Day Cup which figures prominently in a five-race card drawn for the winter Gymkhana race meeting here at Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

The KRC did not lag behind the nation to show solidarity with the Kashmiri peopleby staging the cup and dedicating the entire card to them.

TheKashmir Day Cup is a handicap race for three-and four-year-old Pakistani colts and fillies and will be contested over five furlongs. It is the fourth race in eracing order.

The fifth and the concluding race which is feature event, top scale order I and II also has five acceptors and will go over same distance.

Unknown pedigree bay mare Russian Sage will make her debut on Sunday.

The first race starts at 2.30pm.
