With 545 new cases, Sindh's Covid-19 case tally crosses 250,000

Sindh has confirmed 545 new cases of the coronavirus, taking the provincial tally to 250,042, according to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

Seven more people lost their lives due to the virus, with Sindh's death toll climbing to 4,066.

A total of 9,981 tests were carried out in the province in the last 24 hours, Shah said in a statement. Out of the total 545 cases, 272 were recorded in Karachi.
