LAHORE: The Punjab government on Wednesday transferred Jhang Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Tahir and made him OSD allegedly on the complaints of PTI MNA Ghulam Bibi Bharwana.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Jhang, Shahid Abbas has been entrusted the additional charge of the DC in addition to his own duties and till the posting of a regular incumbent.

The government transferred Alhamra Arts Council, Lahore, Executive Director Saman Rai and posted her as Director General Public Relations, Punjab, in her own pay and scale, vice Dr Aslam Dogar transferred and posted as Alhamra executive director.

The Punjab government also transferred Local Government and Community Development Additional Secretary Mehr Shahid Zaman and directed him to report to the S&GAD for further orders.

The government transferred Deputy Secretary Regulations Wing of S&GAD Muhammad Jafar Ali Khan and posted him as deputy secretary Governor’s Secretariat, Punjab, Lahore, against a vacant post.
