LAHORE: The Civil Lines police lodged a case and arrested a young doctor of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital after he allegedly raped a girl in his private hostel.
According to police, the suspect spiked the girl’s food with tranquilisers and raped her when she passed out.
The police said the girl previously worked as a nurse at the Services Hospital and was jobless these days. The suspect called her on the pretext of getting her a job.
The police said they shifted the girl to hospital for medical examination and were investigating the matter to confirm the allegations.
