Pakistan's Covid death toll crosses 11,000 mark

The number of deaths caused by the novel coronavirus in Pakistan has crossed the 11,000 mark as the country reported 58 fatalities over the past 24 hours, according to the official Covid-19 portal.

The current death toll in Pakistan is 11,055, while the total number of cases is 523,011. Breakdown of deaths reported in Pakistan:

  • Punjab: 4,460
  • Sindh: 3,813
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 1,791
  • Islamabad: 457
  • Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 243
  • Balochistan: 190
  • Gilgit-Baltistan: 101
