Sindh has reported 1,064 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the provincial caseload to 228,949, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said in a statement.

The province also recorded 22 more deaths, after having reported single-digit fatalities for the last two days. Sindh's death toll from Covid-19 has reached 3,730.

The chief minister said that 2,312 more people recovered from the virus, taking the total to 209,239. The province has a positivity rate of 8.5 per cent, he added.
