FAISALABAD: A gang of robbers raped a woman during a house robbery at Chak 192-GB, in the remit of Muridwala police station, Samundari.

Submitting an application to the police, Shahid said a gang of 10 robbers entered his house by scaling the boundary wall and held him and his family members hostage at gunpoint and tied them up with ropes.

He said the criminals collected cash, gold ornaments and other valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees from his house.

He said one of the robbers also subjected a women of the family to rape at gunpoint in the presence of others.

The police registered a case of robbery and rape against the unidentified robbers with no arrest so far.
