Hangu water project

HANGU, Jan 20: The district Nazim said on Saturday that work on a water project costing Rs1.4 million would commence soon and hoped that the situation arising out of water shortage in the city would improve to a great extent after the completion of the project.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of a water supply scheme in Ibrahimzai, Pir Haider Ali Shah, the Nazim, said water that shortage had worsened due to a long dry-spell. He said that work was under way on many other water supply schemes in the district.

He said the district council had inherited several problems but the administration was committed to resolve them.
