Filthy Hyderabad

Published December 2, 2020

SOMEONE really needs to do something concrete towards Hyderabad’s never-ending problem of pollution. The drainage system is completely destroyed and the streets remain inundated by filth and garbage. People litter the streets and rivers, thereby harming the city’s ecosystem.

The people and the city government should initiate collective efforts to ensure the installation of efficient treatment plants for industrial waste, garbage and sewage. Only by being proactive can we overcome the menace of pollution.

People should also realise their responsibilities and dispose of the garbage in the designated dustbins only.
